MI-L MB: Changing map windows

Help!!
I need to create a tool that would start with one map window, run some
code, switch to the next window, run other code... through 8 map
windows, all named differently, then go to the layout window.
 
I have the code to switch to the layout window but don't know how to get
it to switch among the map windows. Is MapBasic capable of switching
through the map windows?
