In this position you will work within the Environmental Management Branch and will lead the development and application of effective and efficient GIS/LIS programs to support Councils management and protection of natural assets. You will development appropriate systems as well as providing support and training to meet client needs. You will also work in consultation with other natural resource agencies and other areas of Council to build partnerships and ensure consistency with the organisation IT strategy and objectives. To be successful in this position you will have: - specialist qualifications and demonstrated experience in the development of relevant GIS/Land information systems to define and meet environmental management and customer needs - a strong customer focus and good communication skills - good problem solving, strategic, organisation, and project management skills The salary range for this position is $977.38 to $1084.94 gross per week plus super (depending on skills and experience).
