Due to the issues with MapInfo Professional only being able to import dxf files from version r13 and backwards (ie 1995 version of dxf and prior), does anyone know of a free tool which will do the conversion of a recent dxf file to an older version, so that MapInfo can do what it really should be able to do itself? I need to be able to do this so that I can run the dxf file through a mpabasic program which can interpret the file correctly.
