Hello, I have a colleague who has over 1000 aerial jpgs and associated tab files. He wants to get them into Microstation eventually as he has existing drawings which he needs to add the aerial photos to.
It seems that there is no ASCII equivalent of a .tab file in Microstation, so the only way would be to import the jpgs individually, which would be a massive task... The only solution we can think of is to open the jpgs in MapInfo in blocks and use 'save window as' at a high dpi to export to a smaller number of larger jpgs. Has anyone encountered this before or does anyone have any better ideas ? Cheers, Matt __________________________________________________________ Matt Carlson Senior Transport Planner Arup 13 Fitzroy Street, London, W1T 4BQ, UK Tel: +44 (0)20 7755 4114 Fax: +44 (0)20 7755 2451 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.arup.com http://www.arup.com/transportplanning/ __________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________ Electronic mail messages entering and leaving Arup business systems are scanned for acceptability of content and viruses. --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 8348
