Hello Brandi,
Try update my table set fieldname = $Char(32). I'm correct, 32 is the
ASCII code for a space.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
Rick

MI-L update field in table with
just a space
Hello List,
Is there a way to update a character field to have only a single space in
it?
I tried the following command:
update mytable set fieldname = " "
However, this didn't take.
Is this even possible?
Thanks in advance,
Brandi
