Hi Frank, The animation layer in Pro can be used to move specific objects around in a mapper window, only having its content redrawn locally around the point. It's designed for displaying GPS positions in real time. Whether you can use it for large or multiple objects remains to be seen. It all depends on your needs (and ambitions). MapBasic is notoriously slow, so "live action" is probably too much to hope for. But maybe with OLE automation ??
