I am unable to import spatial data from Oracle 9i R2 to MapInfo v. 6.5.
The error messages are either (translated form Danish):

"Datatype not supported for column SP_INFO." When I am trying to get data chained to
table.
or when using cache:
"Can not open table. A single numeric index column on table is needed."

My setup is as follows
Windows 2000 (server and client)
Oracle 9iR2 SE with intermedia including locator (subset of Oracle spatial).
MapInfo v 6.5 Danish
on client is installed Oracle 9.2 client software and Oracle 6i developer software.
Oracle home set to Oracle 9.2 home.

On database a MAPINFO user defined with mapinfo_mapcatalog table.
A row is added to the mapinfo_mapcatalog table with the MapInfo "Prepare DBMS-table to
mapping" function. The data seems sensible with spatialtype=13.1
The spatial column in Oracle contains only points.
Oracle spatial data valid, and shows corectly on Oracle Enterprise managers Spatial
Index Advisor.

Obviously I am missing somthing. But I am stuck now.

Can anyone provide a clue?

Med venlig Hilsen
