MI-L TEXT OBJECT CONVERSION

Hello Listers. I have a question about converting permanent text objects into label 
table. In MI there is a tool to convert a label into a permanent text object Called 
"Labeler" 
My question is: is there a way to convert back the other way? I have a map table that 
has addresses placed as permanent text objects, graphically, and I would like to 
convert the addresses into labels in a table that I can do an address search with the 
Find tool.
