Dear list, I was posting message for help on how to get spot height value from digitized contour map (poly line). I want to thank Alan Cooper, Karl Kliparchuk, Mailes Da Costa and Neil Havermale who indicated me to use different method to generate DEM and read spot height from the model. Alan Cooper indicate me where I could find a freeware map basic program that convert all nodes from poly line to points and preserve the Z (elevation) value for each points. Using this point table I produced grid (DEM) map and I already picked up my spot heights very easily from the grid map and it is so convenient to manage the whole process with in MapInfo.
