Hello, I have some drainage networks which have the creek names as text objects. I can attribute the nearest segments of the creeks to the text object with the label, but I want to have the creek name attributed for all segments along the creek from origin to end. I think if I could attribute the first and last segment of the creek, then some kind of shortest path algorithm may find all the segments in between. Any thoughts, has anyone got a program which will do this, has anyone done this?
