Hello all!!!
I have wrote an application using MapX 5.0 and VB 6. This application
uses several maps stored on Oracle 9i. These maps are accesed via SQL as
normal tables and as views. Everything was working fine when I used EZLoader
to load those maps into Oracle 9i, however, when I tried to load the maps
using Oracle's SQL loader for the loading process, the views I was using
didn't show the map anymore. I can see the map when we access the table
itself, and even I can see the info extracted from the view, but the map
is not shown when querying a view.
I have noticed that EZloader inserts records into Mapinfo_Mapcatalog,
it creates geographical indexes and updates Oracle's USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA.
Does anyone know what else does EZLoader do that I am not doing when I use
SQL Loader?
