Thanks to Ashley, Jacques, Martin, Robert et al for your responses. Believe it or not I had already tried all of the suggestions put forward. Why I had resorted to the Run Command option was because I initially encountered errors when I tried to run the query.
While the problem has been solved I have NO IDEA how it was resolved …. But after I had made a variety of changes to the code to try to get it to function it suddenly produced results without any error messages when using a direct query.
I must’ve had some thing that I continually overlooked in the code and finally corrected it with out realising it…
Weirder things dooo happen occasionally..
