Hey I always get there eventually, late SUM I know! Thanks to all of you who responded to my query about populating a variable with a rowid.
Here's my original question: I want to populate an integer variable with the rowid of a selected row, through MapBasic...my first thought was SelectionInfo( ) but I think I've drawn a blank. Can anyone give me a pointer? And the suggestion that I used in my code was: iSelRow = commandinfo(cmd_info_rowid) 'Populates the variable iSelRow with the rowid of the selected row.
