Dear list We use a number of seamless tables made up of multiple raster tiles (Ordnance Survey 50K tif files, aerial photography held as ecw's). These operate fine within the map window. When using a layout window I am aware of the issue of having a 'landscape shaped' map window with a portrait layout and the potential problem of certain tiles to the top and bottom of the layout not displaying. However, this is much more of a problem. Basically, when you have the layout window maximised only a very small part of the raster seamless table is visible. This is not just on the opening of a pre-saved workspace, but on initial creation of a layout. Changing between the map window and layout window doesn't help. The only way to get round it seems to be to not have the layout window maximised. This problem seems to be linked with a recent upgrade to version 7.5 as previously the non-display of a seamless table in the layout seemed to be on opening of a pre-saved workspace, or the portrait/landscape problem. The same problem occurs with different types of raster seamless tables, different machines, and using data from the network or locally, but all using Win 2000 and MI 7.5. The problem doesn't occur if they are not seamless tables.
