hello,

just made a simple as pie integrated mapping example for someone, and
thought i'd share it with anyone who wants it.

it is REAL basic, no documentation, but the code is self explanatory.

here's the link...
http://www.users.bigpond.com/ashsimmonds/mapinfo/ashmithing.zip
(20kb zip file containing 1 MDB file)

you can choose between an integrated or externally instantiated MI object,
and it requires that you insert the complete path and file name of your
werkspace into the box provided.

there are no tool buttons (selects the pan thing by default) or anything,
just an open and close option, and a ZOOM TO button (where you specify your
coordinates and zoom level).

it won't be useful to anyone who's already done integrated mapping, but for
someone trying to get to grips with the absolute basic requirements it might
be helpful.

oh, it assumes you have Access 2000 and MapInfo 7.0, i can't predict the
results on a different setup, though it should be fairly easy to get it to
werk on just about any config.

so there you go.
