Dear all,
i wonder if any one aware of surface runoff from the site drain to the surface
water features using Mapinfo.
i am trying to solove the problem of suface water assessment in Part-1
contaminted land assessment.
i have source details ( such as Railways, mines, quarrys etc... which indicates
a souce of contamination).
i have receptor details ( such as surface water features, including drains,
streams, ponds, canals, lakes, rivers..etc).
i am developing source pathway receptor model for contaminated
land.
The problem in assessing surface water is:
1) Will run off from the site ( Sources) drain to the surface water features(
Receptor). i am finding it difficult to solve this problem using Mapinfo software.
i have digital elavation model of an area, sources and recepors.
i need to check how many sources are draining to the surface water features.
if anyone aware of solving this problem using Mapinfo or Arcview. i would
appreciate if you could help me.
