The Kuwait Aminoil Grid (1951-present) is based on the Azimuthal
Equidistant Projection (Postel Projection) and the ellipsoid of reference
is the Clarke 1866.
Central Meridian = 48� 20' 53.2" East,
Latitude of Origin = 28� 33' 48.5" North,
False Easting = 105,600 U.S. Survey Feet
False Northing = 264,000 U.S. Survey Feet
The Kudams Grid is the UTM Grid on the International ellipsoid as is the
UTM Grid on the European Datum of 1950. The United Nations International
Boundary Survey is on the UTM Grid referenced to the WGS84 ellipsoid. The
Iraq Zone Lambert Conformal Conic is on the Nahrwan Final Datum of 1958
referenced to the Clarke 1880 (IGN) ellipsoid and
Central Meridian = 45� East,
Latitude of Origin = 32� 30'North,
Scale Factor at Origin = 0.998786408
False Easting = 1,500,000 meters
False Northing = 1,166,200 meters

Hello, all:
I got some GPS data for Kuwait, which I would like to
use to create points in Mapinfo. Can anybody suggest
me what projection I should choose to georeference
these info into GIS?
