Thanks to everyone who replied. All the tables do have the same structure.
Cheers

Subject: MI-L Seamless layers and table structure

Hello Listers
Can anyone help me? I'm trying to create a seamless layer from about 70 base
tables. I run the Seamless Table Manager tool and get the following error
message '(seammgr.mb:254) TableInfo: argument 2 out of range'. No seamless
layer is created.
All the tables I'm using should share the same structure but my first
thoughts are that the structures of each table need to be checked out for
differences. With this many tables, each containing many fields of different
data types, I was wondering if theres a quick way of either...
1/ getting hold of the attributes for the tables without going into modify
table structure 2/ synchronising the tables within MI (although this might
end up with some data being lost but I may be able to live with that)
The other thing I thought of was whether tables need to be packed before the
seamless layer can be made?
Any other ideas?
Many thanks in advance
