Robert,
have a look at some software by Ian Hall called Ortho32, it is a single
photo rectification algorithm and have used it for 4 or so years to do
thousands of images.  The main issue you will face is the quality of your
ground control, and edge-matching.  It is pretty cheap and has a batch mode.

I have an associate who wants to rectify some aerial photography to use in 
the GIS.  Any recommendations for something that does the job well, and 
prefereably uses the MapInfo tab files for its control?  Price is an issue.
