Just a thought... I was just wondering if it was possible to use mapbasic to write a search customers database. I have a database of customers (1000s of them) that I have geocoded them for a large city and I want to have the option of keying in their exact customer file id or surname and it will generate a close-ip view of their location and subsequently highlight them. We can them click them to query for more info... At present we are using excel and access and it seems that we are not fully utilising the capability of our mapping system!
I'd love to hear from anyone one of you who might have done similar stuff. Thankx for any feedback in advance... Hear from you all soon...
