Hi! Another newbie question regarding my archaeology masters thesis. I bought an elevation model in ASCII-format, but it turned out to be completely different from the format Vertical Mapper understands. The text file I got has x, y, and z values on every row so it's easy to make it into a MapInfo table and make points out of it.

But after that I'm stuck. The points are in a regular pattern 25 meters apart so I'd like to make a grid where the cells are 25 x 25 m and the centers of the cells have the same coordinates as the points. Any type of interpolation that would change the z value is out of the question 'cos they have already been interpolated once from contour lines. What is the easiest way to make the grid using MapInfo 7.0 and Vertical Mapper 3.0?

Wesa :)
