okay, add a Char column, then (on a copy) issue the following command: ##################### Update YourTable Set NewField = Proper$(ObjectInfo(Obj,3)) #####################
that oughta do it. -----Original Message----- From: Andrew Hare [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, 10 December 2003 11:01 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: MI-L Re Text Objects Changing from Caps to Lower Case Hi All A tricky query Is it at all possible to globally change a text object from capitals to lower case? Without having to start over again Eg CRAIGMORE VALLEY RD to Craigmore Valley Rd As text objects, by default on creation, there is only one column named as ID (integer) with value 0 I could add another column to the table but not sure how to populate that column with the text object text then I can use the popper() function to change the casing Is that a clear way of explaining the problem?
