Further to Upinder query, i am seeking a decent *.mbx to label street segments in MapInfo.
I am unsure if this has been covered before. The standard labelling in MapInfo Pro version 6.0
is OK but misses labels if you disable the overlapping option. If you allow the overlapping option, the map is too cluttered. Also placement of labels can be inconsistant.
Is there a better way??

Hi all
Mometarily experiencing a brain freeze.
Is there a good way (expression) for labelling contours in MI? I have 1m contour table with a "value" field representing the height of the contours. I want to put a label on every fifth contour so the contours are labelled every 5 meters.....its sounds very simple but the answer escapes me.
