Now the question. Have need to create esri world files from MI .tab data for .jpg images. (Kind of a pain) Data is Lat/Lon WGS84, decimal degrees. Image is georeferenced in MI. Then Lat/Lon of UpperLeft, LowerLeft and UpperRight pixels is determined (laboriously, if that's a word) then x and y pixel dimensions are determined and the .jgw file created in NotePad. (More fun than I can stand). Anyone know of a "better" way. The tab2tfw type .mbx codes don't seem agreeable. SubQuestion: Is there source code somewhere for the MI image georeference procedure, or how does MI determine the x/y pixel location from the image during the georeference process. SubQuestion #2: If pixels are square, why is the x size different from the y size? Any hints.
