HI I am trying to calculate miles for a particular city using the new street pro data 6.2 versions. However, the number of miles that I get is very large esp. when I compare it with old version of street pro Streets change over a period. The difference in miles between the old and the new is 1000 miles The reason for the miles been higher is the way the data is digitize. My question is how does one get right miles for a city using MapInfo Street pro? One of the solutions that I got was: Is to use snap/thin the street layer, but the data cannot be consistent as it depends on the end node tolerance number /Internal node tolerance number used (I hope you know what I am saying).
