Clayton, when you are opening the Excel file, you should be able to specify
a range of data, and then check a box telling it that the first line is your
header line. When I import XLS files, I tell it the range starts at "A2"
instead of "A1", and then I check the box. This is assuming my first line
in the XLS is my header line.

Hope this helps.

Frank

Subject: MI-L Importing from Excel

I am new to MI and have a large number of GPS points in Excel I would like
to import. I have been able to import the coordinates but not the
associated labels.

Any help would be appreciated.
