Hi Peter!

You are awesome! The wild goose chase paid off!
It actually worked, much to my astonishment.
I have tried something similar before to trick ProViewer into doing stuff,
but without success.

It seems as the line Create Menu... is important, even if no menu is
created.
Because if I use only the line Run Command 208, it will not work. Don't
know why.
It made no difference on a machine with both ProViewer and a full
Professional, but on a strictly ProViewer machine it made all the
difference.

Here is the tip again to access the settings from Proviewer (all credits
to Peter Horsbll Mller)
Create a workspace containing these lines:

!Workspace
!Version 400
!Charset WindowsLatin1

Create Menu "PetersSecrets" As "Preferences" Calling 208
Run Menu Command 208

Save it as PV_Options.wor or something and open it in ProViewer.

Voila - the settings panel appear and you can happily hack into all nifty
settings.
Tested to work on ProViewer 7 English.
No guarantee for older, or other language versions.

Hlsning/ Best regards Mats.E

This is of course a wild goose chase but have you tried creating a
workspace containing only these lines:

****************************
!Workspace
!Version 400
!Charset WindowsLatin1

Create Menu "PetersSecrets" As "Preferences" Calling 208
Run Menu Command 208
****************************

It might actually work
