I have a general question about integrating MapX with a Microsoft Access 2000 Database. I know programming in Access pretty well, but I don't know much about MapX. Here is an example of what I might want to do:
1. Using an Access form, I select a state from a drop-down menu. 2. An embedded Map opens within the Access form showing all hospitals within the state. 3. I select a hospital in the map and press a button in the access form 4. An Access report opens showing information about the selected hospital (based on an ID number) Is this possible? How difficult/feasible would this be for someone with programming experience? My only experience with MapInfo and Access is embedding an OLE object, which allows no manipulation of the map from Access code. Thanks for your patience with a newbie!
