Hello
I'm trying to unravel an interesting probem with some mapinfo tables that happened
quite some time ago. Am using MapInfo Professional 6.5 on Windows NT 4.0 Environment.

I have two versions of the same MapInfo polygon table with the only difference between
to two being that newer version of the table has three polygons that have somehow
become corrupted.

The polygons in the original table have some problems with them when I run the check
region process. They all have self intersections where there are small loops within
the boundaries of the polygons. I am assuming that in order to cause these polygons to
become corrupted some form of process has been run on the table that in conjunction
with the loop errors has caused the polygons to become deformed. All the files within
the Mapinfo table (.tab, .map .id .ind .dat) were last modified at the same time which
indicates a reasonably large process being run on the table

Has anyone encountered anything similar with a MapInfo table or able to suggest a
process / error that might have cause this

Regards

Jon
