Hi, We need to add "mapping capabilities" to an existing Client/Server application...
functionaly The user (localized outside the main offoce) has to digitize some polygon using a raster as background. Initialy we thought to use MapX... But the quality of the network is poor... So I see wo alternatives... 1� Embedding a WEB application in an internet ActiveX control... but what about editing capabilities on ORACLE layers ??? 2� Using MapX as it is for edition of vector data... And building some custom tool that should be be able to generate small raster layers on the fly via a web server (MapXtreme ?). Does anybody have an idea of the existance of such a tool ( MAPX WebServer interface)...
