Just got the Directions newsletter and they feature a MapInfo book by Ian Johnson with the following note
"It doesn't cover the new features introduced in versions 5 and 6" I'm sure its a very good book but that must make it at least three or four years out of date. Given that ESRI publish a huge amount of material themselves surely MapInfo are missing a trick here? The marketing seems to have picked up lately after all. The other trick they are missing is to start a personality cult around North Londons Finest (Mark Cattini) along the lines of the quasi-scientologist aura around Jack Dangermouse.
