you can try to do this through Grid Analyser and windows bitmap. GA is able to import and decomposed registered or NOT registered bmp into MI grid file(BMP<>RGB and/or HSV and/or CMYK and/or Grayscale). These grids can be queried (reclassificated) in order to bring out requested features within GA environment or can be imported in VM.
