Glenn Letham is back in the e-world of GIS with a new journal and resource center for those of us who take an interest in Where as well as Who, What, When and Why. If that describes you, check out the GISuser Community site recently built in a new corner of cyberspace at http://www.gisuser.com.
The lead story about the screw-up on the map printed on the new Canadian 100-clam note made me wonder how many heads are being boiled in Ottawa this week. (but what does Ottawa know about the west coast of the Great White North, eh?) Hey, and there's also a virgin MapInfo forum waiting there (as opposed to the rather experienced and somewhat cynical one here.) There's no messages posted there yet. A tabula rasa; a fresh snow bank you can sign your name on... I wonder what the first words there will be? Anyway, Glenn was too polite to engage in shameless commerce by plugging the site here himself, so he got me to do it. But do check it out. Every new 'net upstart -- I mean start-up -- deserves a good housewarming party! - Bill Thoen --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 10660
