I have just purchased MI Pro 7.5 and find that when drawing straight lines in the cosmetic window, there is no:
1) azimuth tool or reading that provides the instantaneous bearing of the new line, and 2) no way of measuring the azimuth or bearing between two points 3) if my base layer is a raster photo in UTM (meter) coordinates, the Cogoline Tool requires I specify my starting points in DMS!!! Unless I missed something, tt appears MapInfo does not allow the most basic of map drawing functions--drawing a line with a specified azimuth. Seems to me the original DOS version of MI had these basic tools. Any help appreciated.
