Gary A couple of years I put a UTM converter on the Directions site written in VB - among other things it also has a routine to produce bearings between two points expressed in a national grid - it doesn't work with LatLong though. VB is easily ported to MapBasic - look for UTMConverter-380.txt and within tha the BEARING function. Doug Pease has also put up COGOPOLY on the same site - this is an MBX (no source code) that may do the job for you
Hope this helps Paul Crisp BT Syntegra Innovation Place Delta Bank Road Newcastle NE11 9DJ Tel 0191 461 4522 Fax 0191 460 1987 -----Original Message----- From: Gary Clifton [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 14 January 1998 00:58 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: MI-L Re: Obtaiing bearing between points Feb. 10 Dear List: MapInfo informs me that there is no way to obtain a bearing between two points on a map in MI Pro! Does anyone know of a MapBasic add-on or a workaround on this?
