Could this be a 'Permissions' issue on the folder where either the data
resides, or where you are trying to write to?

Subject: MI-L Universal translator:- cant select certain
files/directories

I am trying to convert a .tab file to an ESRI shp file but am having a
problem with Universal translator in MI 7.5.

When I try to select the file in question, neither the file or the directory
it is in are available to select. I realise that several of my data
directories are unavailable for selection.

If I type the path manually, the process starts then fails.

Have emailed the file in question to a friend running older ver. Of MI and
translation went without a hitch.

Can anybody help with this situation?
