Grid Analyser does exactly what you want. A trial version (works only a few days - 5?) is available for free download from www.terris.sk. Open your grids (strength and DEM), go to Color > Advanced and select the DEM in the "Take shade from grid" listbox. You may play a little bit with the settings or colors to get satisfactory results.
