Hi,

I believe that on the MapInfo website there is a doughnut creating mbx (Ring
Buffers (Doughnuts)--This application will generate doughnut-shaped ring
buffers around selected objects) located at
http://extranet.mapinfo.com/support/downloads/mb_30util.cfm

Hope this helps

Mark

Subject: MI -L Creating doughnuts

Hello

Can anyone help with the following;

I am trying to create a doughnut(?) similar to the Ring Buffers mbx,
however, I do not wish to save the "doughnut" at the end of my session.
At the moment I am creating two circles in the Cosmetic Layer at a
common x,y and drawing circles with two different radii based on a user
value.

I can do the function manually by Set Target than Erasing the smaller
circle. That is fine but I would like to be able make it part of the sub
procedure.

Any help is appreciated.

thanks
Greg
