I think Namita is looking for the cords of each "node" of polyline "street".

There may be a more eligant way to do this, I think Routeware has a
"Toolbox" with a utility for this.

To perform this by hand, export your streets table (or selected streets) to
the Mapinfo native *.mif file, (eg. Mystreets_points.mif) or anything
different to the name of your original street file.

Once exported, go ahead and change the file extention to .txt

Open this mif file in your text editor (this is where a more robust editor
like Ultra Edit is important).

Delete everything except for the coordinate pairs and save the file.

Return to Mapinfo and from the file menu "Open" select the text file option
and open the text file you just created.

For your delimiter choose other and in the box to the right, enter a space
(space bar once) and click ok.

At this point all you'll have is a two column browser showing the x y for
each node of the street(s) you are working on.

If you wish to carry this further and create points, simply use the "Create
points" in the "Table Menu" and using the appropriate columns click ok.

To be able to use the file, save it as a Mapinfo table with a different
name, open that table and you'll have the point objects of your street(s).

Hope this helps,
David Reid

Subject: RE: MI-L latitude and longitude for street

Thank you for response.
THis gives me the centroid of the segment. I want the
latitude and longitude for every pixel in the street.
Thanks
Namita
