Yes, that's what I'm saying, but I didn't go into enough detail about what my
constraints are.

Although I am using MI to organize my data, these are ultimately going in a
non-MI application, a more simplistic display-only program. In this
application I cannot use TTFs, but only BMPs. Also, although 32x32 allows for
a great looking symbol, it's simply too big at certain scales. I really need
smaller sizes - say 16x16.

I have MI 7.5, and MapX. MapX comes with a couple of dozen 32x32 bmps, a few
of which would work if they were the right size. The symbols that come with
MI (selectable via Layer Control) appear to be TTFs - which are great for
scaling of course, but my simple app can't do that. I can swap out different
size versions of a similar bmp depending on the scale, but I'm still stuck
with bmps.

It may be that these come with MI and I just can't find them, but I've done a
file search for *.bmp and found only those I've mentioned. The User's guide,
Reference Manual, and On-Line help don't come up with much about bmp symbols
either.

Worst case of course I can draw my own, but with so many other images out
these it seems like someone must have certainly invented this wheel already.

Thanks,
