Hi all - I have a knotty problem. I have a dataset that I am processing some queries on, and have noticed that some of the polygons have been colour coded, however the colours do not relate to an attribute on the table, and i need to select on their coded status.
Now i think the answer to this is No, but is there any way to capture an attribute to a new column based only on the present colour of a polygon? Cheers in advance for any help Greg ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Greg Phillips BA PGDip MIFA Environment GIS Consultant Built and Natural Environment Northamptonshire County Council PO Box 163 County Hall Northampton NN1 1AX Tel: 01604 237433 Mob: 07799 832584 Northamptonshire Environment Network http://www.nen.org.uk/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
