Trimble has a program called quick plan in their pathfinder office. It
appears to be a free download on their web site.

Subject: MI-L GPS software to predict satellite positions

Dear All,

We are doing some street surveys using gps.

Depending on the time, there will be, at a given location (X,Y),
different numbers of GPS satellites that can be seen by our gps.

The more satellites we can see the better the data quality is.

Satellite are using almanac.

I am looking for a software that can tell me how many satellites I can
see at a given time and location.

Do you know where I can find such product ?

Thank you for your help

Best Regards

Hassan Tazi
