the only sure way to convert files from MAC to PC and visa versa is to use a MAC-PC converter. I have been doing this for years and it works great (and fast). I use it most of the time to fix bad PC adobe illustrator files (sometimes the files go bad on the PC side at random). I ship them to the MAC, open them up in the MAC version of illustrator (which is much more stable). This apparently fixes the problems, because when I ship the files back to the PC, everything is ok
The program I use is PC MacLan made by Miramar systems. I use an older version (v. 7.1) that only works on win 98 and up to OS 9 (I think). There are more recent versions, but Miramar did a large price increase with ver 8 and above. It is easy to use (though you have to do things in a specific order), and it works quite well. s. figuers --------------------------------------------------------------------- List hosting provided by Directions Magazine | www.directionsmag.com | To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message number: 11312
