Hello list, I wrote a Mapbasic program which is getting slower and slower while running. I am already using the set table statement with the fast edit mode set on and the undo mode set off but that does not seem to help. Are there any other possibiities to free memory? The program itself does not add new rows but enters new values into already existing columns and does a bit of math. Within the program i am using recursive functions. Could that be a problem for Mapbasic? Are iterative procedures generally (?) more efficient than recursive ones?
