MI-L follow up, editing Access queries?

Thanks to Kenneth Wilson I can now set the alias on a field in my Access 
query (either from the Design View or SQLView  in Access, type 
Alias_Name:Current_Name)

BUT...the bigger question is now this:  does anyone know if it is even 
possible to edit an Access query from MapInfo?? From my attempts today it 
seems not, but trying to get some confirmation.
