We found that this problem went away when we upgraded the RAM chip in our printer an
HP750.

have had it happen several times in the last week once while trying to print out a
raster the other time trying to print out a vector (not at the same time and not
together).
This question comes up here every once in a while, and no one has
solved it yet. Searching the archives for '31107' (see
http://testdrive.mapinfo.com/tdc/mapinfo-l.nsf/12dcce0bd0474519852564370063f39d?SearchView)
it appears to be a printer driver problem and related to printing
large wads of raster output (especially transparent/translucent
layers.) I think it has to do with a low-level Windows routine to
copy a window, particularly when copying it to a printer.
There appears to be no solution other than to try a different
printer driver or configuration. Did you recently change any
printer hardware in your environment?
