Hello MapInfoites,

Does anyone out there know of an easy way to find polygon centroids.
I've used the sql select tool but I find that for what I need, it's
quite tedious. Is there a way to return the centroid in a non-lat/long
format. My task is to create a list of polygon centroids in a UTM
projection and currently I'm querying for the centroid, saving the
results to an excel spreadsheet, opening the spreadsheet in mapinfo,
creating points from the lat/long coordinates, then I have to re-save
the points into a table that's not connected to the excel spreadsheet so
that I can then use the coordinate extractor to get my utm coordinates.
It's an annoying process so I figure that there must be a simpler
solution, one that seems to elude me. Any suggestions????

Thanks,
