Please check-out the just released RegMan application, which consists of several modules for topological operations on region tables:
* Split - geographical overlay of two tables
* Dissolve regions - joins neighbouring regions using common column data
* Elimination of unwanted regions - joins small and/or lengthy regions (slivers) with its neighbours
* Break multi-polygon regions into single-polygon regions
* Overlay nodes of neigbouring regions
The trial version is ready for free download from http://www.terris.sk/.
Modules Split and Dissolve are limited on number of records in each table they use. Only tables with 10 records (rows) as a maximum can be used. Other modules are not limited at all.
