Here's another question about getting MapInfo to run in a Linux
environment. Has anyone tried this and succeeded yet?

Have you -- or anyone else you know -- run MapInfo in a win4lin emulator
on linux? I, of course, have been running it on virtual win9x inside VMware
since 1998, but I wonder if it runs well on win4lin. The latter is less
expensive than VMware so I wouldn't mind switching as I move to a different
box and Slackware rather than Red Hat.
