Has anyone worked out a way for MapInfo to read ascii
grid files without the need for Vertical Mapper? It
should at least be able to display the grid, even if
it is very limited in its grid functionality. Why does
it accept USGS DEM format, but not a universal
standard such as ascii or xyz?
